Fishtank Fiasco

ACe4918: so i decided to clean the tank

ACe4918: but i forgot to unplug the heater when i set it on my nightstand
ACe4918: so it caught fire
PoochUMD: ok, thats a fiasco
ACe4918: while my fish were in a bowl
ACe4918: then, i unplugged it, and took it into the bathroom, were it shattered and i cut my toe on the glass
ACe4918: leaving me precious little time to hobble to petsmart and buy a new heater, while my fish waited in there water getting cold

ACe4918: it got cold too fast

ACe4918: dude, i didnt run my water through my brita, and now my fish are like panting in their tank
ACe4918: i dunno what to do
PoochUMD: how much water did you put in there?
ACe4918: refilled it
ACe4918: they are up at the top like gasping for air
PoochUMD: you are only supposed to remove 25% of the water at a time
PoochUMD: turn on your filter
PoochUMD: or stir the water
PoochUMD: the brita has nothing to do with the air in the water
