The Black Knight
Review:
I for one was pleasently surprised with the Black Knight. I did not think it was going to be nearly as good as it was. Well anyway, the Black Knight stars Jamal Skywalker (Martin Lawrence) who thinks about no one but himself most of the time. He works at a castle theme park and there is another one about to open in a few weeks. He is forced to clean the moat around the theme park and finds a gold medalian. As he reaches for it he is magically taken back in time to midevil days. When he first gets there it takes him awhile to realize what happens so he acts as though he is at the new competitive castle theme park. He eventually realizes that he's not and is able to have the King trust him and makes Jamal a Lord. Skywalker later finds out that the King stole the thrown away from the former Queen. And Skywalker helps to lead the attack teaching all of the peasents the latest football! and boxing moves. Near the end of the movie it gets kind of confussing. Skywalker saves the day and is dubed a knight and is magically transported back to the present. The best part is that the way the movie ended, it left the door open for a sequeal. The Black Knight had a lot of funny moments. Someone got their face shoved in horse crap, and we get to see what bathrooms were like back in the day. For all these reasons I have to give the Black Knight 3 and a half stars out of a total of 5 stars.
