Hilary Swank-Ellie Burr
Review:
Taking place in a small Alaskan town, where the sun hardly ever sets, an LA detective, Will Dormer, and his partener investigate the murder of a local 17 year old girl. Dormer eventually figures out where to find the killer, but loses him in the dense fog. But sees someone ahead and assumes it's the killer, well known auther Walter Finch, and aims and fires. Unfortunatly for Dormer it was his partener and killed him within a few short minutes. Fearing what people will think Dormer tries to cover up his mistake and blames the murder on Finch. Unknownly, Finch saw the whole thing and tries to blackmail Dormer. Finch starts calling Dormer in Dormer's hotel room late at night knowing that he can't sleep since it's daylight 24/7. So everynight the two talk for awhile and Dormer never seems to get any sleep and eventually becomes an insomniac (bet you didn't see that coming). So now Finch and Dormer become somewhat friends and t! ry to help each other out. Eventually, one's murder will catch up with them. But who will it be? Insomnia is a great mystery with great acting by both Pacino and Williams. A great movie to see when you have the time. I Promise you, you won't be disappointed.
