Memento

Review:
In a cross between Clean Slate and Seinfeld (the episode where everything happened backwards) Memento is the story of a man whose searching for his wife's killer. Lenoard dealt in insurance fraud before the night his wife was killed. In the attack, he was injured and now is unable to make new memories that last for more then a couple of minutes. Throughout his quest he is accompanied by, Teddy (Joe Pantoliano), the man he eventually murders for the death of his wife. (I'm not giving anything away, because the first scene is where he kills Teddy...(The movie does everything backwards, remember?) It seems that a movie whose ending is given out at the very beginning would be kinda boring... but its not. The director (Christopher Nolan) made an interesting choice in telling the story in reverse, but it truly made us understand what it would be like if we didn't have the previous memories. I gotta say, 4 stars all the way. I don't remember it ever being in theatres, but it is definitely one of the best rentals out there right now.
