Rat Race

Review:
Rat Race features a rather large cast that is split into 6 teams. The first team included Nick Schaffer (Breckin Meyer) and Tracy Faucet (Amy Smart). The second team consisted of Blaine Cody (Vince Vieluf) and his brother Duane Cody (Seth Green). The Third team included Vera Baker (Whoopie Goldberg) and her daughter Merrill Jennings (Lanai Chapman). The fourth team included Randy Pear (Jon Lovitz) and his family. The Fifth team was just Enrico Pollini (Rowan Atkinson, or Mr. Bean). And the final team was Owen Templeton (Cuba Gooding Jr.) all by himself. Now with all that taken care of, the plot of the movie is simple. There are 6 teams choosen randomly and they are all racing to a train station in Arizona, where $2,000,000 is waiting for them. The first team to get to the money obviously wins the money. This game is set up by millionaire Donald Sinclair (John ! Cleese), and he has a lot of people betting on who will win. Along with other humorus side bets through out the movie. And each team has their own bit of difficulty getting to Arizona which results in humorus outcomes. Not to mention that Rat Race has a great twist ending. Which makes Rat Race one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. It has everything from a psycho who sells squirrels to a cow hanging from a hotair balloon. Not to mention Mr. Bean is in it. I must say he is quite possibly one of the funniest people alive. And in Rat Race he is at his comedic best I think. The only reason why I'm not giving Rat Race 5 out of 5 stars is because the character I wanted to win didn't. So I can only give Rat Race 4 and half stars.
