Spy Game

Review:
Brad Pitt and Robert Redford star in this slick film depicting the workings of the CIA. When I first saw the previews for this movie, I thought it was about two CIA agents. Robert Redford would train Brad Pitt in the workings of the CIA, Pitt would get in trouble and Redford would risk his neck trying to save his life. I couldnt have been more wrong. The whole thing takes place in a flashback. Pitts in trouble and Redford is telling stories about him. Thats the movie in its entirety. Although I enjoyed Spy Games a lot, I had one major problem with it. While wondering around the agency (which happens a lot, because Redford never leaves) he interacts with many fellow agents. Some are his superior and some are beneath him, but I wasnt able to keep track of them. I didnt know who was who the entire time. The movie does get some bonus points for its depiction of the CIA. The portion of the movie when Pitt is learning the ways of the CIA (I almost said the ways of the force) is great. I dont want to get too detailed about it, but if you see the movie, you will know what Im getting at...its real slick stuff, the kinda thing James Bond would do, minus the crazy weapons.
