Review:
The Lord of the Rings, hmmm, personally, I think it should have been called Star Wars episode whatever. Why? Well, there are two wizards fighting each other using the force by waving their arms around pushing the other into a wall or 100 feet into the air. Another reason is that when Gandalf the wizard died, he appeared to Frodo. Kind of reminds you of Obi Wan appearing to look after he dies huh? If I understood the movie correctly which I am sure I didn't until I see it again, there were 27 rings I think, which gave the person who wore it magical powers. A certain number of rings were distributed among the different races of elves, dwarves, wizards, and so on. But there was one ring that was made by the main villain in the film (Everyone has such weird names I can't remember them all sorry) which over powered all of the other rings. So eventually thousands of years after this villain loses his ring, a Hobbit finds the ring and eventually gives it to Frodo. But it is unsafe to keep the ring or the evil people will track Frodo down and steal the ring and kill him to get it. Which is why know one wants to take the ring as a gift. So Frodo and his friends decide that the only way to destroy the ring is in the same fire where it was created. And when Frodo gets about a third of the way there the movie ends. Makes you want to go see it now huh? I suggest waiting till all three movies are out on DVD and watching them all at the same time. The Lord of the Rings great action scenes and suspense made up for the boringness too I think. It's an ok movie, I just think there was too much hype.
