The One
Review:
This movie stars Jet Lee who acts as many characters. Much Like
Micheal J. Fox in the Back to The Future series. He plays the villian
Yulaw, and at the same time the hero, Gabe. But how? you may be asking
yourself. Well, Imagin that there are parallel universes. And that in
each one there is someone just like you. In Yulaw and Gabe's case,
there are about 124 other people just like them. And they all shared
the same energy, or power. And when one of them dies, the energy from
the dead is shared with the rest that are still living. Making them
faster and stronger. Well eventually Yulaw figures this out and travels
to other parallel universes and kills himself basically. The movie starts
when Yulaw kills one of his doubles. After that there is only Yulaw and
Gabe left. There are many theories about what would happen if Yulaw
becomes "the one". Most of t! he people think that the universe will
explode which is why they want to stop Yulaw at no cost. But Yulaw
believes he will become a God. But who will become "the one"? Gabe,
or Yulaw? This was a great movie. It had great fight scenes like
the Matrix. Jet Lee even dodges bullets on countless occasions.
Since Yulaw and Gabe are so fast and strong they could do near to
anything. Yulaw picks up not one but TWO motorcycles and crushes a
cop. Now that's entertainment! That is why I give The One a total of 4 stars.
